Re: It bein' FB season n all...
If he's (SMQB) going by the way he's saying he's wrong. That's not the way it works. Like you said starbuck, you could make any one ineligible like that. You only get in trouble for things you do or things you're a part of. If they wanted to say that he was a part of it for trying to enroll at another school then that's on him for going along with it. As for it ruining his chance at a scholarship, it wont. NCAA schools take kids every year with a hell of a lot more baggage than him. I don't see him going D1 anyway. I think he'll go somewhere smaller and he'll make some program very happy.

So you are saying he would drop out of school if not for football? Dont think very highly of him do you?
Re: It bein' FB season n all...
Anyone actually see him in the class? Just wondering or it was just word from here and there. I don't thin he was in any class, maybe the parking lot or something, but can't imagine why he'd he in any class. I think yall are underestimating the power of HS rumors....and no pvfan, so far karma hasn't been a *****.

I had written a long reply but I deleted it. You obviously not matured enough to understand that JIB can do wrong. Have fun with your shirts.

1)If there is truth, what does it do/say for the Norton chemistry? Your leader is ready to abandon you.
You know, if Miles came to PV, I'd say welcome. However, after reading that, it makes me consider something else:
Though karma would be a ***** to Norton, Miles should stay with his team. These are guys that he grew up with, played football with, and has possibly been through a lot with these guys (good and bad).
Re: It bein' FB season n all...
ok for one;
if the kid doesnt accept anything, IF there was stuff on the table like that, he cant get in trouble for ****. if you dont take nothin, they cant get you on nothin.
a car, phone, etc..??
thats some PRETTY strong accusations, if you are gonna put some crazy ish like that out there, then you need to be man enough to step up and explain.
i would bet 1010100 trillion dollars that nobody offered anyone a car, or **** like that, this is SINGLE A SWVA football, we cant afford to give kids cars are you ****in serious
as far as any of this hurting the kids case for scholarships, HELL no. the number #1 RB in the nation last year came with a whole helluva lot more baggage than miles has, would the UT fans not accept him because of that? hahahhaa
the answer is yes, they would accept him.
if he has the talent, then none of this really matters, all that matters is he gets grades to get into school, and has the talent to stay there.

If you can dish it out, you should be able to take it, you're the worlds worst at doing that. Its a game, its HS, its a HS game that you always take way too seriously. Guess what? He won't be playing for any team around here anyway next season, who really gives a **** where he plays now? He's going to be great no matter what color he's wearing, I promise that I won't hang my head in shame if my team loses or walk around with my chest puffed out if they win...its a game. If he had left, my heart wouldn't have been broken, I just would have saved 20 bucks from the few games I would be going to this year. Neither team will be winning state this year, what difference does it make? This whole thing has just been blown up, way up, for no reason. I'm glad he's playing for us, any team would be **** lucky to have him, but life would go on if he had left. It has no negative/positive effect on my life, its looks like it does with you.

Fairweather fan perhaps? What's up with the saving 20 on the few games you'd go to bit,as well as neither team winning state deal? Me and Pvfan may not always agree, but I respect the fact that he's there for his bunch in blue like I am my crew in red rain or shine. If you are proud of where you're from,be it 10-0 or 0-10,then show up and support the fellers. I'm past tired of this whole Miles bit. It's high school football, not a plotted terrorist attack. Folks around these sleepy little towns have nothing else so they bring the stories. I could care less whether he goes or not. Whatever floats his boat.
Re: It bein' FB season n all...
No, I just don't feel like wasting money to watch a complete blowout on either side. That's why I'd only being going to a few games in the first place, not going to pay/travel to watch us beat the hell out of pound or rye cove, the only team I've been to that I knew would be blowouts is your indians...just because I enjoy every bit of that. I've always went to the big pv, cwood regular season...then the playoffs. Other than that, its not many of these bad games, unless I'm going to socialize with friends and such. I never played football for them, but I do enjoy good games/rivals...plus supporting friends like coleman last season. If its an awful team, I probably would prefer catching a movie with my girl, friends or do something else with my friday night. I know he and you support them, that's cool...just seemed he didn't know how to take it well when I was giving it right back. Its a HS football game, its nothing more than that unless you're playing for them right now or something. Just because I went their, doesn't mean I have to be a die hard fan...and it won't be like that when I transfer to uvaw.
Re: It bein' FB season n all...
Easy on counting the blowouts too early.
